We Remember 9/11

Whereas it was 12 years ago, that horrifying and heartbreaking day is still clearly etched in our collective memory. The national psyche changed forever on September 11, 2001. Today, once again, the New York anniversary ceremony took on the familiarity of ritual. There were family members reading the names of those who lost their lives, time to reflect, moments of silence. Me, My Pedometer and MoonWalk

I blogged last month about participating in the MoonWalk half marathon. Rosemary and I, both cancer survivors, are excited about walking through Manhattan on July 20th to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. Training for a Half-Marathon

You see them everywhere, don’t you? People exercising with their smart phones in hand, ear-buds plugged in, enjoying their own music, conversation, recorded book or other mp3 download. The MoonWalk in Manhattan

Rosemary and I have a long history. We’ve been friends for 35 years, ever since our husbands coached our sons in basketball.
