Women’s History Month: Honoring Women in March

Did you know that in 1987, the U.S. Congress declared March to be Women’s History Month? Is this one of America’s best-kept secrets? Although women have contributed to society and culture throughout history, these gifts weren’t recognized until 1911, when International Women’s Day was first established in Europe to be celebrated on March 8th.
